A Parenting Coordinator Decision-Maker (PCDM) is a neutral third party appointed by the court (or agreed upon by both parents) to help resolve parenting disputes outside of the courtroom.  What makes a PCDM different from a typical mediator is the decision-making authority. If parents can’t agree on something like scheduling, travel, or extracurriculars, the PCDM can step in and make a binding decision—quickly and without a costly court battle.
